Luke Morton Wins Inaugural Lebanon T-Mobile Little League Home Run Derby

12 players ages 9 to 12 took their cuts at becoming the first ever Lebanon T- Mobile Little League Home Run Derby champion. The competition is set up just like it's major league counterpart, where players get 10 outs to hit as many home runs as they can. The 12 players who participated were:  Thomas Barnhart - 10U Lynx, Jacob Baumann- 12U Orioles, Brandon Cable- 12U Reds, Alex Giordullo - 9U Lynx, Sam Giordullo 12U Braves, Jackson Guntle - 12U Braves, Nathan Hounshell - 12U Braves, Logan Jenks - 10U Lynx, Matt Kramer - 12U Reds, Ethan Morgan-12U Braves, Luke Morton -12U Braves, and  Elijah Workman - 12U Orioles. 

Players could select who they wanted to pitch to them. After three rounds of hitting, Logan Jenks finished 3rd reaching the 180 foot mark or farther twice. Second Place was Elijah Workman with three blast of 180 feet or more. Luke Morton took the championship title with five shots of 180 feet or more, including two OVER the 200 foot mark.

Morton is now eligible for the regional T-Mobile Little League Home Run Derby competition, which will take place in July at a local Major League Baseball park. Regional winners will then advance to the T-Mobile Little League Home Run Derby championship at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA in August.
